New YH-E700B headphones sport a sleeker, fashion-forward design, improved ANC and voice call quality and more
BUENA PARK, Calif. (Feb. 21, 2023) — Today, Yamaha unveiled its next-generation E700-class wireless noise-cancelling headphones, the YH-E700B. The headphones feature an all-new cosmetic design, improved ANC and voice call performance, and many other new capabilities. The YH-E700B combines best-in-class sound performance with powerful digital technologies that allows the headphones to adapt to the listener and their environment.
"With the new E700, we've aimed to make significant updates," said Alex Sadeghian, director of Consumer Audio at Yamaha Corporation of America. "From a refreshed design to improved tech for easier setup and user-friendly controls, this headphone takes a big step forward in terms of both appearance and functionality."
The headphones employ an improved implementation of the company's proprietary Advanced ANC active noise-cancelling. Unlike typical noise cancelling, which can often "color” or degrade the sound, Advanced ANC analyzes and removes background noise while keeping the music signal pure and untouched.
The headphones also feature Yamaha-proprietary Listening Optimizer technology, which analyzes and corrects for the effects of individual ear shapes and wearing styles using advanced, real-time processing.
These technologies are joined by many other features, including:
A companion Yamaha Headphone Control App, available for iOS and Android, provides access to all headphone settings and EQ customization. The YH-E700B offers a total continuous playing time of up to 32 hours on a 3.5-hour charge. The headphones come with a carrying case, USB-C charging cable and an audio cable for wired listening.
