Trenton ‘s BPC8219 PCI Express backplane utilizes the PICMG® 1.3 butterfly form factor to enable 2U rackmount computer designs. Side B of the backplane features three x16 slots driven with x16 electrical interfaces, while side A supports one single or dual-processor single board computer with a x16 PCI Express slot driven by a x4 PCIe link.
