The ST12MHDLAN HDMI® over IP extender kit includes both the transmitter and receiver and lets extend an HDMI audio and video signal long range over a Gigabit LAN Network, or shorter distances using a direct CAT5e/CAT6 cable connection. When connected through a Gigabit LAN Network, the same HDMI signal can also be extended to additional displays using ST12MHDLANRX receiver units (sold separately), for a point-to-multi point installation.
This versatile HDMI extender offers multiple configuration options. As a point-to-point video extender, can connect the transmitter and receiver units directly over Cat5/Cat6 cabling for a small scale one-to-one extension of up to 330 feet (100 meters). A point-to-point setup can also be achieved when connecting through a Gigabit Ethernet network.
