Somfy’s new Sonesse® 40 PoE motor range utilizes Power over Ethernet for simplified control of motorized window treatments via a single CAT-5e cable. Available in sizes 2, 4, and, 6Nm it operates large applications easily and is simple to control thanks to third-party drivers developed utilizing the Somfy Synergy™ API. This motor is UL listed, compatible with any IEEE 802.3bt switch and comes equipped with a single CAT-5e SF/UTP pigtail. Each motor’s built-in Web GUI provides convenient commissioning via any web browser and once installed the Somfy Synergy protocol allows for direct integration to your favorite third-party control system, no gateway required. These motors feature a compact and discreet design, providing a smaller light gap as well as interchangeable motor head colors, available in white, black, and gray.
