Sun readable LCD TFT screen. Pro Display uses only the highest quality TFT screens and components to develop their range of high brightness displays, with screen sizes ranging from 32 to 46”. The range includes a number of sunlight viewable displays for window applications. Displays offering both PC/video inputs with a number of special options touch screens, single board PCs, digital media players, TV tuners and IP rated housings. We use two types of screen technology to produce our sunlight viewable LCD screens high brightness back lit panels and transflective panels. The type of panel used depends on the application and brightness level that we wish to achieve. Our high brightness back lit panels tend to be 3 to 4 times as bright as a standard LCD TFT panel ranging from 1000 to 2000nits depending upon panel size. This brightness level is suitable for applications in direct sunlight.
